Canada 150 Legacy Project - 2017

Victoria Hall Volunteers dedicated their Canada 150 anniversary legacy project to Victoria Hall and the citizens of Cobourg on September 25, 2017. This project is the restoration of the First and Second World War memorial names hanging on the north wall of the foyer in Victoria Hall. With the help of the Town of Cobourg, Victoria Hall Volunteers contributed to the long term preservation of the A. J. Casson scripts and the gold framing of the memorials. These beautiful memorials are now preserved until Canada's bicentennial in 2067 and beyond for all who visit Victoria Hall.

Victoria Hall Volunteers

The Victoria Hall Volunteers are a group dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of the heritage and historical aspects of Cobourg's Victoria Hall. We achieve this mandate through advocacy, activities, tours, education and fundraising events.
