Piano
In 1983 the Volunteers felt that the Concert Hall needed a Concert piano. So, with the help of a Trillium grant, the Volunteers purchased a Bechstein concert grand piano. The donation was worth $32,000 which still remains our largest single donation.
Podium
The Volunteers initially provided the Hall with a podium in 1984 then replaced it when it began to show its age. We also had a brown velvet fall made for the front of the podium, with Victoria Hall Cobourg embroidered in gold. It was stolen very quickly by some souvenir hunter; we replaced it and it was quickly stolen a second time. So, we gave up! Or was it the Green Lady, the most infamous ghost of Victoria Hall, who stole them? The total donation was $1,100.
Brochures
In 1984 the Volunteers had tourist brochures printed which told of the history of the Hall and highlighted points of interest. Since then, we have printed brochures 5 more times and will be printing them again this year. Total donation for brochure printing was $6,000.

In the past we have also donated towards the purchase of china, cutlery ,stemware, 2 dishwashers, tablecloths, trolleys and tables. Total donation has been $20,000.

In 2002 the two cabinets were refurbished for $500. In 2014 the cabinets were replaced with more attractive and user-friendly cabinets. The old cabinets had to be accessed from the back which made it very difficult to decorate. The total donation was $14,000.
Blinds
In 1993 the Volunteers donated $11,000 towards the purchase of automated blinds for the Concert Hall and the Citizens Forum. Unfortunately, over time some of the blinds stopped working and the manufacturer had gone out of business. Lenah Field Fisher Portrait
This foyer is named in honor of Lenah Field Fisher the primary proponent for the restoration of Victoria Hall. This portrait was painted by Victoria Hall Volunteer Ethelwyn Rempel and in 2003 it was framed at a cost of $149.00 and hung in the Foyer. In 2011 it was reframed at a cost of $180.00. Light globes
The glass globes that once graced the gas lights throughout the Hall were replaced in 2017. At the ceremony naming the Foyer in Lenah Field Fisher’s honour, one of the globes fell, smashing on the floor. Some believe that it was Lenah’s ghost that caused the globe to fall, thus making her presences known. Whooo knows?? Donation $2,400.
